Island Life

Kea or Tzia is in the western end of the Cyclades, and the 6th biggest. The island bears the shape of an Almond.

In the ancient mythological tradition because of its natural and climatic conditions the island was the ideal place for the Nymphs.

Ioulis town, where we will wait for you on Friday, is the main town of the island and it stands tall visible from the port and 15 minutes away by car. Livadi is the main port where you will arrive and it’s very lively with bars, restaurants and shops.

Proceeding along the costal road at 2km from it you will reach Vourkari, a  small marina and one of our favourite places. This is the place to be in the evening with all its bars, little boutiques and several places to eat.

Along the road between Livadi and Vourkari there are also some nice little beach clubs. Around the island you can find beaches like Gialiskari, Koundouros, Korissia, Spathi, Otzias which are organised or partly organised. For the more adventurous, there are many small and secluded ones like Orkos, Xyla, Liparo. Please note: some of those are accessible only via dirt roads, which sometimes can be a bit rough and need to be handled with care!
